How Much Kanekalon is Needed for Making Dreadlocks?

**Making and selling custom dreads worldwide since 2007**
We make dreads that fit you, your personality & your life!

How much kanekalon you will use for each dreadlock will depend entirely on the outcome you desire - such as, how thick do you want the dreads and how many dreadlocks do you want total.

We suggest purchasing at between 4-6 bags of kanekalon for one full head of dreadlocks!

If you want really thick dreadlocks use more kanekalon. If you want really thin dreadlocks, don't use as much kanekalon, per dreadlock.

The more kanekalon you use the thicker yoru dreads will be. The less kanekalon you use the thinner your dreadlocks will be.

It can be rather difficult to make a good loop for single-ended dreads if the dreadlocks are super thick. This is not a problem when making thinner single-ended dreads or double-ended dreads.

Kanekalon is the best synthetic hair extension product for making dreadlocks. Kanekalon seals best. It is better than any other kind of synthetic hair on the market which means it lasts longer than other kinds of synthetic hair for the purpose of making dreadlock extensions.

Kanekalon is a little more expensive than other kinds of synthetic hair, but since the other kinds of synthetic hair extensions do not seal as well kanekalon is really the only worthwhile synthetic hair product worth buying or using for making dreadlocks.
