Cutout Art ~ Street Art ~ Graffiti Barcelona Spain Barcelona has an undeniable attraction for artists. The easy-going laid back attitude of the city allows for rampant and vivid self-expression by locals which can be viewed on nearly every street and on many buildings throughout downtown. I've never seen as much cutout art anywhere as in Barcelona. The city is ripe for new and creative avenues of expansive artistic thinking and sharing. Perhaps because Barcelona is so inexpensive, it is a hub for free spirits. Graffiti in Barcelona is embraced and welcome. It is not condemned, nor or those who create it. Many of the storefront grates in downtown Barcelona have been painted by graffiti artists. It appears that graffiti artists can make a living through their art and willingness to express it, in Barcelona.
