I was watching a YouTube video by SamProof where he asked . So... what would you do with $50K?" I asked my daughter this question and without pause she exuberantly blurted out, "BUY COCAINE!". Hmmm... maybe a little back story is necessary here. A few weeks ago, I saw a contest on youtube called Project Direct. When Sophie came home from school I told her about it and that the grand prize was $5,000.00. She didn't seem too impressed and casually explained that she didn't think kids her age should have that much money because all her friends who had a lot of money spent it on cocaine. I saw where she was coming from and acknowledged that she'd be obligated to put the majority of it in the bank. She was like, 'Yeah, but I'd want a little." She wants a new MP3 player and she'd like to go shopping.
